Healing with Art & Yoga
An evening of relaxation, meditation & education — light yoga, an art activity & discussion about art & mental health
About this event
Beginning with a calming Kundalini breathing exercise led by Anne Koller—artist, author, peacemaker—participants will follow an emotional tracking exercise. Then, Lydia Ferraro—school-based psychologist & art therapist—will add a splash of art activity and reflection. Dr. Danessa Mayo—clinical psychologist and CEO & founder of My Good Brain—looks to play around with art techniques to cope with mental health issues brought on by the pandemic. Some of our presenters will answer questions during a wrap-up Q&A, providing tools to understand mood, offer fun creative outlets, and ultimately bolster mental health management.
