Knowledge is Power
What is bullying?
The American Psychological Association defines bullying as
a form of aggressive behavior in which someone intentionally and repeatedly causes another person injury or discomfort and can take the form of physical contact, words, or more subtle actions (APA, 2022).
Bullying takes place when there is an imbalance in power and a person uses their “power” (such as physical strength, knowledge of personal information, popularity, etc.) to target an individual with repeated, unwanted behavior.
