About the Kids at Heart Video Series

In the year since COVID-19 upended daily life, mental health struggles have skyrocketed, accelerating an already dire health crisis that some are calling a second pandemic. But help-seeking and action-taking for mental health has not kept pace.

We have an opportunity to push the culture of mental health from awareness to action, inspiring people to take the first action to support themselves and others. In May 2021, My Good Brain participated in the Mental Health Action Day by MTV Entertainment Group. From this month-long focus on mental health in May, we were inspired to keep pushing for more awareness and action that just one day of the year.

This is why we started the Kids at Heart Campaign.

With this campaign, My Good Brain is focused on its second aim within our overall mission: to showcase teens and adults promoting good modeling behaviors to youth on how to take care of one’s mental health regularly by engaging in art, play, and hobbies.
