Mark your calendars for 5/6!
Join us in celebrating the City of Fremont, Human Services Department’s fourth annual Children’s Mental Health Awareness Art Competition. In partnership with Fremont Unified School District (FUSD) we are celebrating national Children’s Mental Health Awareness Day and bringing attention to the creativity and resiliency of Fremont students. Students living in Fremont and attending FUSD schools have been encouraged to submit art, photographs, poetry, and digital work including spoken word performance, podcasts and short films.
My Good Brain’s CEO and Founder, Dr. Danessa Mayo, will be one of the panel of judges for the art contest. My Good Brain is also proudly sponsoring the event. K-6th Grade level winners of the student art contest will receive a $100 gift certificate from the City of Fremont, and My Good Brain has pledged to include a free Tool Kit as part of their winning prize.
On May 6th, Mayor Lily Mei will publicly announce the winners and runners-up via a video recording; and our virtual art exhibition, highlighting the work submitted to the competition, will be launched on the City’s website.
