Yoga and Anxiety

Now that summer is here, My Good Brain is focused on helping kids and families come up with great ways to show that exercise is helpful to our mental health. Whether it’s going swimming to cool off, playing tennis, or just simply taking a walk, there are so many benefits to moving our body! Yoga is a great tool that can help children reduce feelings of anxiety and we’ve got research to demonstrate this too. Even practicing just 10 minutes of yoga per day can have positive effects on children’s mental health.
