We are Recipients of the Town of Colma Grant and the 4 Imprint Grant!!

Today, we have some really exciting news to share with you all. My Good Brain received a $2,000 grant from the Town of Colma and a $500 grant from 4 Imprint!

Town of Colma Grant

The grant for the Town of Colma is unique because we can bring our Tool Kit Program to the town of Colma THIS fall, specifically for Garden Village Elementary School. Our tool kit program is where we donate a toolkit to participating schools comprising art activities, lessons, and supplies relating to a theme for the semester. This aims to provide teachers and students the tools to have lessons on specific mental health-related topics. The funding has covered the costs of art tools, educational books, and other materials necessary for the tool kit.

Previously, we have enjoyed connecting with Colma residents through the Colma Community Fair. We are excited about the opportunity to further our reach within Colma through this grant!

4 Imprint Grant

Through the One-by-One program, Four Imprint awards $500 grants to nonprofit organizations to purchase promotional products. We have previously received support from 4 Imprint, which boosted our support and success by expanding our reach by over 40%.

4 Imprint’s grant allowed us to purchase items to gift within the community at our upcoming in-person World Mental Health Day fundraiser on October 31st as raffle prizes such as squishy brain stress balls and fanny packs. We are excited about this opportunity to market our nonprofit organization in the Bay Area with the help of 4 Imprint’s fun and high-quality products.

We are sincerely grateful for the Town of Colma and 4imprint’s contribution to My Good Brain and our mission to educate children in the community about mental health through art.
