LymeLight Foundation x My Good Brain
This past Saturday, My Good Brain had the honor of collaborating with the LymeLight Foundation on their Ninth Annual Grant Recipient Reception.
The LymeLight Foundation seeks to give grants to eligible children and young adults with Lyme disease so that they can receive proper treatment and medication. Through the grants and events, they hope to raise awareness about Lyme Disease. At the end of this post, there will be signs and symptoms of Lyme Disease. Please take your time to look through the symptom list.
At the Ninth Annual Grant Recipient Reception, LymeLight and My Good Brain congratulated new grant recipients and heard the stories of those who have previously received grants. The stories of those with Lyme Disease showed the incredible strength and hope of those who have the disease.
Near the end of the event, My Good Brain held an art activity for all the participants at the event. Everyone constructed their own Tree of Hope, with sticky mote leaves covered in their hopes and dreams.
Though I wasn’t able to catch any pictures from the event, I do have a PowerPoint for the activity we did.
All of us at My Good Brain hope this activity helps you remember your hopes and dreams! May this tree help you grow!
