3 Quick and Fun Halloween Crafts

  1. Paper Straw Spiders

Materials: construction paper, markers, paper/plastic straws, glue

Draw a spider body on construction paper

Cut straws into longer and shorter pieces

Glue the bigger strands to the body and the smaller pieces to create spider legs. Your spider is now all done!

  2. Ghost Straw Craft

Materials: black cardstock/construction paper, white kids’ paint, pipette (optional), bendy straw, google eyes

Use a pipette or pour a blob of white paint on the black paper

Angle the straw on one side of the paint dot and blow to make the paint move downward (keep the straw straight for a long ghost or angle side to side to create a wider ghost)

Repeat this to make multiple ghosts on the paper

Allow the paint to air dry and then turn the paper around so the rounded edges are on top

Stick Google eyes on the ghosts, and use a black marker to draw on mouths. Then, enjoy your new art piece!

  3. Fingerprint Bat Sheet

Materials: yellow, orange, and white paint, printable bat sheet, scissors, double-sided tape, black construction paper

Cut out bats and use tape to stick them to the paper
