Kindness

November is one of the months I eagerly wait for as I get to celebrate a beautiful time with people, I love weather they are far or near. Also, it gives us a chance to reflect on people who have shown kindness to us and think about how can we practice kindness back.

What actually is kindness? It is a type of behavior where someone act in generous and considerate manner without expecting praise or reward.

Good thing is we do not have to learn afresh or buy it from a store! It is something we always have inherent to us and we can do it for free to anyone, anytime and there is always a scope to show kindness. You do not have to do something big; it can be just saying hi to your new neighbor or someone new at school. Sharing what you already have with others or donating your old toys to bring smile to kids who cannot afford them!

Kindness always has a ripple effect even if you cannot see it as both the person giving and receiving kindness, gets positive and happy thoughts and when you are happy, you tend to spread it further.

Here is an infographic where we share some of the ways for you to practice kindness but remember, you can always do more and bring joy to yourself and others. Do share with us your stories about someone who had shown kindness to you which touched your heart. Or how do you practice kindness?
